Before was a large room where there were three floor toilets and a large water tank, used by the working girls for laundry, (Mother Teresa's rule prohibiting the use of washing machine), but without adequate sinks which led them to having to wash clothes on the concrete floor using large and heavy metal tubs.
Our interventions: demolition of the old cisterne and the old bathrooms, new floors. construction of : 4 new bathrooms with shower, 7 laundry sinks in marble and granite, 5 washbasins for children with mirror, purchase and installation of two water tanks and pumps on the roof, new floors, tiles, electrical / plumbing system, painting of the whole place .
