Host courtyard - 1: is the space where visitors usually stop, pending the arrival of the nun who will accompany them for the visit inside.
Our interventions: the only action we have carried out is the restoration of the facade and the construction of the railing separating the "outer court" used as a playground.
Main entrance hall - 2 : is a small space that provides access to all areas of the Centre. There is a table on which visitors often leave gifts for children, discarded dresses, toys or other things, and which is used for the Nativity Crib in Christmas.
Our interventions: new floor, new electric system, painting of the walls and ceiling.
Play courtyard - 3 : on our arrival in December of 2007 it appeared empty and sad.
Our interventions: restoration plaster and paint of the wall surrounding wall, the realization of mural paintings with oil colors, design and assembly of the various playing items, painting of windows and exterior doors.
Inside coutyard - 4 : before it was almost unused since it was not covered by a roof. Now is the place where children study, draw and do their homework, with the help of a teacher who follows them every afternoon.
Our interventions: transparent canopy, construction of gutters and drainage grates, floor, plastering and painting of walls, doors and windows, painting of murals, magnetic board, electrical system, tables and benches. .
Right corridor - 5 : this is the corridor leading to the bathroom / laundry room.
I Our interventions: here we only recycled an old sink that was in the old kitchen, with the addition of a small marble shelf. Many children usually rinse here the dishes they use before storing them.
Left corridor - 6 : no intervention
Laundry drying rack - 7 : no intervention

Canopy - 8 : the inside courtyard could not be used during the raining season and besides also the strong sun was a problem.
Our interventions: we provided to build an iron structure in order to cover the whole area with a transparent fiberglass sheet. Now this is one of the children’s favorite places in the house, confortable for studying and playing in the shade, or even during the raining season .
