Main bedroom - 1 : is a bedroom where 2 to 6 years children sleep.
Our interventions: floors, plastering and painting walls and ceiling, wall tiling, restoration of windows, glass, curtains, restoration of beds, new mattresses.This is the first room renovated by Smiling Angel between 2007 and 2009.
Bedroom for disabled - 2 : is definitely the room that mostly inspires tenderness.... home for about thirty children between 4 and 13 years old. Many of them are dependent and totally immobilized in bed...
Our interventions: new floors, plastering and painting of walls and ceiling, new mattresses, construction of a large closet, painting doors and windows. This year is our intention to paint some murals in order to give a more joyful look to the room.
Babies bedroom - 3: it is a small room usually used for new arriving children, who are often very small and in poor conditions. These children need very special care and assistance almost continuosly.
Our interventions: new floor, restoring of the electrical system, new mattresses, painting walls and ceiling.
Babies playroom- 4: it is an intermediate space between the infant room and disables room, normally used for feeding the children who must be fed, and for the small children to play. It 's the place where working girls spend most part of the day.
Our interventions: new floors, painting, construction of large mattresses lined with vinyl, painting of doors and windows.

Mattresses: The majority of the beds occupied by children often had a tattered mattress about one inch thick , almost a blanket lined with plastic, and some had not even that, and the mattress was made up of overlapping layers of cardboard, with a piece od plastic on top.
Our interventions: We carried out the realization of 63 mattresses and 5 large footon, buying and cutting the 4 inches thick foam that, with the help of a tailor, we had coated with vinylic fabric, obtaining confortable and easily washable mattresses.
